Costa Smeralda Tourism

The Costa Smeralda is located in north-east of Sardinia, in Gallura.
It is divided into small and deep inlets similar to fjords, including among granite headlands, sometimes forged by time in bizarre ways.
The line of steep cliffs and small islands enclosing small bays with beaches of white sand.
Some are particularly welcome as Smooth Cow or Cala di Volpe, lapped by crystal clear water and surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation.
Since the sixties of last century, the Consorzio Costa Smeralda has given rise to a vast work of promotion of tourism.

The territory has changed: from the wild and sparsely populated as a symbol of worldliness, luxury and vacation elite attracts thousands of tourists every year.
