Sorrento Peninsula

The beautiful natural scenery of the Sorrento Peninsula is one of the most famous tourist sites of Italy.
Jutting into the Tyrrhenian Sea almost to the island of Capri, extends from Castellammare di Stabia at Punta Campanella, the watershed between the gulfs of Naples and Salerno.
Art and tradition characterize several settlements, including the most celebrated and Sorrento, perched on an imposing cliff overlooking the sea, this charming little town preserves important evidence and medieval, which are flanked by the architecture of the Renaissance and Baroque.
There is no shortage in this area of intense appeal, the opportunities for wellness tourism, such as spa facilities of Vico Equense, one of the most picturesque Amalfi Coast.
But beauty is in the great charm of this land: the coastal road is one of the wonders of the Italian landscape.
Among citrus groves, vineyards and olive groves sloping gently toward the sea, the trail follows the winding outline of the coast, opening curve after curve spellbinding views of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius and Capri.
The coast is high, rugged and rocky, with limestone cliffs that break into cliffs, coves and cliffs.
