Seriana Valley - Lombardy (Italy)

Over the centuries the municipality of Albino has undergone numerous changes in its boundaries, due mostly to the numerous combinations with neighboring villages.
In medieval times it is cited as the town of Albino territorial unit comprising only the current and capital dell'Oltreserio part, to the borders with the territories of Saint Benedict.
The latter, located in the Valle del Lujo, included the present villages of Abbey House and at that time considered separate land: the annexation Albino came during the fourteenth century that nonetheless provides favorable tax treatment for the Benedictines present.
Even the village of Fiobbio in the past has often experienced by the autonomous municipality of Albino experiences: in the eighteenth century rose to town, then lifted the title a few years later during the reorganization of borders implemented by the Kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia.
Also the towns of Bondo and Petello, always united in one name, had a long history released by that of the capital.
Self in the Middle Ages, together with Albino during the Venetian rule, and again independent from the beginning of the nineteenth century under the name of Bondo with Petello Brusetto, including also the location on the slopes of Mount Rena.
This situation remained unchanged until 1928 when the fascist regime unified the territory in what is the current situation.
This territorial reorganization were also incorporated the towns of Desenzano and Comenduno, which until then had been united only in the capital during the Middle Ages with the size of the supra Greater Municipality of Albino.
This included individual municipalities in the district (all the existing town by adding Aviatico and Hiking Hiking in Vall'Alta) and manages the common property in place of medieval aristocratic figure.
Only the country of Vall'Alta was indeed excluded from this administrative community, so that when it was aggregated in Albino, also in 1928, were the numerous diatribes because never until then had been part of the community albinese.
Later that Desenzano is Vall'Alta presented numerous instances in order to regain their independence, attempts always discarded.
