Until forty years ago, Arzachena was a peaceful pastoral village of Interior.
Today, transformed into the capital of one of the most famous tourist region of the world, the Costa Smeralda, the village has changed a lot.
High above the houses, there is a curious rock sculpted by the wind because of its shape is called the mushroom, and the surrounding area there are many traces of prehistory.
Among the most interesting sites for an excursion in the interior are the Nuraghe Albicciu, the Tomb of Giants Coddu Vecchiu and Li Muri Necropolis.
