Comacchio is a precious jewel gently nestled between the warm red brick and green shimmering channel.
In ancient origin, retained until 1821 its connotation of floating city.
After the age Este became part of the possessions of the Papal States that contributed to its rebirth in the seventeenth century with the construction of urban buildings, churches, bridges, including the famous Trepponti.

Getting around Comacchio
