- The Old Town
The old town of Montalbano Ionic is a medieval walled.
The houses are small and close to each other, mostly white.
Overlooking the Ionian Sea, since the beach is only twenty kilometers, the town is situated in an ideal location for a pleasant holiday.
Besides enjoying the sea, you can stroll through the narrow streets and squares of Old Town, where typical houses Basilicata are mostly white.
But above all, Montalbano Ionic, you can admire the badlands of a dazzling white, which is very easy to find a myriad of amazing fossils.
- The castle
The manor of Ionic Montalbano, of ancient origins, had un'impianto austere.
