Morgongiori is located approximately 33 km from the provincial capital of Oristano.
As the crow flies the town is situated between Cagliari and Oristano. If you are coming from the north (and then from Oristano) you must take the SS 131 towards Cagliari.
Uras will live up to the ramp to the SS 442 for Laconi and after about 10 km from the entrance of the latter will be the territory intact Morgongiori with his town of about 1000 inhabitants.
The country stands at 351 meters above sea level thus offering an environment rich hilly woods uncontaminated and uncompromised.
The etymology of the name of the country refers to the rocky walls of which the territory is surrounded (Morgongiori would, in fact "pile of stones").

La architecture of this church has a Latin cross with a beautiful vaulted ceiling.
Inside the church are the statues of some of the saints dear to the people, whose importance is more cultural and historical art.
In addition to the church is full of architectural importance as a historical witness, as it preserves an important documentary archive of Morgongiori.
