Sarcidano town of dedicated breeding, lying in a hollow plateau of Pranemuru, a plain at the edge of the sparsely vegetated valley Flumendosa.
The area is rich in archaeological sites such as the necropolis of Su Motti, with domus de Janas made from basalt boulders.
In a panoramic position not far from the cliff are the ruins of the Nuraghe Arrubiu.
This is a five-lobed structure, very complex plan, more extensive Barumini.
Red stone, the complex is developed around the central tower of the eleventh-tenth century BC which experts originally reached the height of 27 m.
Around five towers are arranged, probably dating to the seventh century and linked by high ramparts.
To this is added a second circle in the sixth century, in order to perfect the system of defense.
All around are the ruins of the village nuragic huts with circular and rectangular.
