Petronà is a municipality located in the pre-sila Catanzaro, leads the National Park Gariglione and natural terrace on the marquis and the Gulf of Squillace.
Offers the possibility of nature excursions in the nearby parks and cultural places rich in history as Santa Severina and Le Castella.
The town was formed in the eighteenth century. by a group of houses built by shepherds and woodcutters up today to take the shape of the typical mountain village that lives by basing its economy, especially the processing of mushrooms and chestnuts.
