Interesting town, home of the painters Jacopo Landino said Jacopo da Casentino (fourteenth century) and Paolo Uccello (XV).
In Propositura are significant works of art of the '400.
One kilometer to the abbey of St. Mary Poppiena the remains of the original building of the XII century in a beautiful painting by Giovanni del Ponte (XV).
Dominates the town of Pratovecchio Romanian castle built in the eleventh century. Was the strongest among the castles of the Guidi, with the deck and three surrounding walls and fourteen towers which date there are only three. The place is famous because it mentioned by Dante in relation to the story of Master Adam of Brescia in 1280 (Hell: XXX).

Built in the second half of the twelfth century, has retained the character of the Romanesque apse with two rows of arches and the interior, with three aisles, supported by columns with carved capitals.
