Talamona is a town in the province of Sondrio.
Located on the south side of Valtellina is bordered to the north by the river Adda.
The town is situated on a Talamona of alluvial fans Roncaiola crossed by streams, and Malasca Ransciga.
To the south, the municipality includes the foothills Orobie up to the watershed that separates the two valleys of the Val Roncaiola and Malasca Tartano and Albaredo Valley.
