Between the valley of Arroscia, and Val Pennavaira run some small streams, including the Paraone and the Merce through the territory of the town scattered Vendone.
To the east dominates the landscape relief Castell'Ermo (1092 m.), which is worth a trip for great views of the surrounding valleys, out to Albenga and good stretch of coast.
Lèuso is the town hall, but the villages of Castellaro and Curenna are the most interesting from the standpoint of historical and architectural heritage.
Fortress Castellaro, is of considerable size, was built by Clavesana and then transferred to Albenga.
The building is oddly shaped triangular, partly because it uses the shape of the rocky outcrop on which it was built, and has a huge hexagonal tower.
Even Curenna Castle (Castrum Cucalariae), exploits the natural roughness of the rocks on which it is built, and so the typical houses fortress at the entrance of the medieval village.
It was fought between Clavesana long, and the municipality of Albenga, today is abandoned.
The other hamlets of the town are the perfect stage of an itinerary that combines the interest of historical, natural and gourmet.
The areas planted with vines are included in the area of Pigato and Vermentino Doc.
Along the path to Castell'Ermo meets the shrine dedicated to St. Calocero, which according to tradition was martyred near Albenga.
