As always, the city around the Tower of the Twelve is particularly hospitable.
The emperor also knew the Germans, who during their long trip to Rome did stop at this station.
The story is changed, the hospitality has remained.
The city of the Fugger still retains the medieval charm, and is the last bastion to the north.

This can also be regarded as a paradise for hikers and nature lovers: hiking, climbing, high streets, paths hut to hut or mountain biking.
A special council, is High Street Tiroler Höhenweg from Mayrhofen (A) through the Brenner Pass to Merano, 130 km of breathtaking views and an impressive mountain world.
There's something for everyone.
And why not spend a few hours of historic sites and monuments of local culture: the Museum of Ridanna Schneeberg mines, the pilgrimage church of Maria in Trens Freienfeld, the museum of hunting and fishing in Mareta Wolfsthurn Castle, Castle Rate / Reifenstein near Sterzing, the Civic Museum with the altar at Portela Hans Multscher ... offer extraordinary.
A quick visit to Colle Isarco, just north of Sterzing, to breathe again the air of the old and then a famous holiday resort, which has welcomed many of the aristocracy and of world literature, as Henrik Ibsen.
Even in winter Sterzing and valleys are worth a visit.
There are 3 ski areas: Racines-Giovo, Rosskopf Rosskopf and Ladurns-Colle Isarco - slopes for skiing, tobogganing, snow-shoe trails and many other fun in the snow.
