The Province of Como is easy to reach by plane, arriving at the three airports in Milan (Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio) and the one in Lugano, Switzerland.
The Lugano Airport is just a 20 minute drive from Como, while the airports of Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo are about 50 - 60 minutes by car.
Como is also well connected by rail to all major Italian and European cities.
Fast and frequent trains connect Como to Milan and Switzerland daily:
- The Ferrovie Nord Milano Station links Como to the centre of Milan (Milano Cadorna) with trains every half hour;
