Its name derives from the historical population of Apulia Apulia. Puglia is the easternmost region of Italy: Punta Palasca (Otranto, Salento), is about 80 km from the coasts of Albania and is the point located in the east of Italy. Its land is flat to 53.3%, 45.3% for the hilly and mountainous only for 1, 5%. The territory is then divided between hilly and flat, although there are individual scattered on the mountains near Gargano, on Daunia and Murge.
