Established by the Ministry of Environment with Ministerial Decree amended by Ministerial Decree of 07.12.1989 of 17.05.1996, the protected marine area covers the stretch of sea facing Acitrezza.
Zone A includes the circumnavigation of the Cyclops Islands: you are allowed access to only rowing boats to reach the areas of bathing sites on the west side of Lachea and Punta Cornera.
In area B, the navigation is free, the motor limited to 5 knots.
In Area C the speed limit is 10 knots.
